Unlink game namespaces from an AMS account

Overview

This page walks you through on how to unlink your AccelByte Multiplayer Servers (AMS) account from your namespace.

Submit an AMS unlinking request from your namespace

  1. Customers without the support plan can submit an AMS account unlinking request via the AccelByte Developer Community Discord server channel. For more info on how to join: Join the AccelByte Developer Community Discord.

  2. Go to the SUPPORT - general-support channel and submit an AMS account unlinking request there. Do not indicate the targeted game namespace in the ticket as an AccelByte team member will further inquire the required info when handling the request.

What's next

Verify the namespace is unlinked

After the AMS unlinking support request is completed by our AccelByte team member, to check if a game namespace has an AMS account unlinked from it, follow these steps:

  1. In the AccelByte Admin Portal, go into the game namespace that you want to check.

  2. On the sidebar select AMS.

  3. Verify that the namespace is unlinked from an AMS account.

    • If an account is NOT linked to this namespace, AMS will only have the Setup AMS Account option.
    • If an account is linked to the namespace, the full functionality and user interface for AMS will be enabled under the AMS menu on the Admin Portal sidebar.
