Play test - Playing with Friends - (Unity module)
You’ll need the following to test this feature:
- Access to two player accounts that are friends with each other. See Add a friend for instructions on how to add friends.
- A way to run two game clients logged in as different users. You can either use two separate Unity Editor instances or run the built game.
We'll refer to the two game clients as Client A and Client B.
Test sending invite

Launch the game on both Client A and Client B, and make sure both are logged in.

On Client A, start a match by going to Play Online > Create Match, then select any game mode and server type. Wait for the match lobby menu to appear.

In the match lobby, go to Invite Friends, find the entry for Player B, and click Invite to Session.

On Client B, check for an invitation notification.
Test accepting invite

Repeat the steps in Test sending invite.

On Client B, click the Accept button. A loading screen will appear, indicating that Client B is connecting to the host/server. Once connected, the match lobby will display both Client A and Client B in the player list.
Test rejecting invite

Repeat the steps in Test sending invite.

On Client B, click the Reject button. Client A will then receive a notification that the invite was declined.
