Enable chat on Session Template

To enable session chat, you need to update the configuration of your Session Template.

1. Log in to the Admin Portal and go to your game namespace dashboard.

2. From the side bar menu, select Multiplayer > Matchmaking > Session Configuration.

3. You need to update each game session and party Session Template you've created. In this case, you need to update unreal-elimination-ds-ams, unreal-teamdeathmatch-ds-ams, unreal-elimination-p2p, unreal-teamdeathmatch-p2p, and unreal-party Session Templates. Please edit the configuration one by one by clicking on the Session Template name.

4. On the Session Template configuration menu, click on the Additional tab. Then, toggle on the Enable Chat Room option and set the mode to Game. Do this step for every Session Template mentioned earlier.

5. There you have it! You have successfully enabled chat on your Session Templates.
