Release date: May 12th, 2025

Versions

AccelByte Gaming Services (AGS)

AccelByte Multiplayer Servers (AMS) CLI

  • AMS CLI: 0.245.31

Highlights

Fallback Fleet on AMS We’ve introduced Fallback Fleet functionality, enabling users to configure two separate fleets: a Primary Fleet and a Fallback Fleet. When the primary fleet reaches its capacity, AMS will automatically spin up new servers using the fallback fleet — ensuring continued availability without manual intervention.

This is especially beneficial for bare-metal setups, where users typically use bare-metal servers for predictable baseline traffic, and rely on a fallback fleet (e.g., VM-based) for handling unpredictable traffic spikes. Once configured, AMS intelligently handles the rest, minimizing operational oversight.
