Publish a store
Overview
This article walks you through how to publish a store in the AGS Admin Portal or with the AGS CLI.
When you publish a store, the store will immediately go live in your Player Portal or Launcher. After a store is published, you can no longer edit its categories, items, and displays.
Prerequisites
- You have access to the AGS Admin Portal.
- You have a game or a publisher namespace.
- You have an existing draft store with items ready to be sold.
- To follow the AGS CLI steps, you have installed the AGS CLI and signed in with an account that has access to these features. See Install and sign in. The examples use a Bash shell.

- AGS CLI
-
On the Admin Portal sidebar, go to Online > Store & Catalog > Stores. The Stores page appears.

Click on the View button of the draft store.
-
Click on the Publish Store button. The "Publish Store" confirmation pop-up appears.
-
On the pop-up, do one of the following:
- Publish all changes: to publish all of the changes applied to the store after its creation. Type in PUBLISH to publish the store.
- Publish partial changes only: to only publish select changes that were applied to the store after its creation. Click Continue, then select the changes you want to publish. You can use the available filters to find and select the changes you want to include. Then, type in PUBLISH to publish the store.
