Configure verification code format

Overview​

AccelByte Gaming Services (AGS) allows you to customize the format of verification codes by configuring the character set and code length.

This article walks you through how to configure the format of verification codes.

Permissions​

Make sure your account has the below permissions.

Configure verification code format​

  1. In the AGS Admin Portal, go to your studio namespace.
  2. On the sidebar, go to Settings > Verification Code.
  3. Select the Character Set.
    • Default: Use the AGS default character set, which includes non case-sensitive letters and numbers, excluding the letters: I, L, O and U.
    • Custom: Customize the character set used for verification code generation.
      • Add your preferred characters in Custom Character Set. Please note that only letters (A–Z) and/or numbers (0–9) are allowed.
  4. Set the Character Length: Set the character length of the verification code. By default, the length is eight.
